Friends....
I just got off the phone with my best friend Jason, who currently lives out in WA. He called me from the South Center Mall(I believe, can't remember completely) and asked me if I wanted a Seahawk hat and tshirt. I was immediately happy, because I haven't bought a Seahawk, anything in over four years! Living out in the mid west its hard for me to find any gear, and its even worse when my team makes it to the Superbowl, but yet I see no tshirts/hats anywhere, no respect I tell ya! So, I say "hell yes!" and he talks to me through some shirt descriptions and what not, and he got me a white 2x shirt, with the Seahawk helmet on it, and a light/dark blue Seahawk flex fit hat.

I talked with him for about an hour, and after turning the phone off I realized just how lucky I am to have a friend like that, who is thinking of you on an odd day, and actually gets you something sweet! I have done this for him a few times, he is a HUGE star trek fan and whenever I find any eccentrix trekkie item, I jump on it and mail it off to him....

At times, I let life get me down, and thats how I was feeling earier today, but just simple gesture has brought a smile to my face, and I can finally wear my Seahawk gear, cause I'm so SICK of being surronded by Ram fans...:)

So, my question to all of you, is to share a story, of a time when a friend has helped you out or taken you by surprise...:)

1. Too many stories to tell, but when I'm feeling down there is a certain
person I call or e-mail to tell him about it. It always seems like he is going through or has gone through the same thing. All of a sudden, I don't fell so helpless anymore. And sometimes, certain people have a way of putting things into perspective. That's probably not much of a story or much help to you, but there it is.........
