Trying to pay for something that requires Paypal. So first since I have a never used before email address or credit card on their stupid website I sign up. Great...It tells me that Ebay says my email address has been seen before. So I have to confirm with my credit card. Well apparently THAT passes muster. So I go to make my payment. Well all it does is tell me I need to add funds from a bank account. But I do not want to use a bank account. I want to use a credit card that is preloaded to save me the worry of someone stealing all of my money. So what now?
Am I missing something? This is why I hate paypal!

I had a problem with that danged place too and try like hell to refuse to use it now.
But nevertheless, I used to have a credit card set on there, and if you choose to use your credit card it can not make you use your bank account instead.
If my memory is correct, though, it may demand you give them both a primary and a secondary source for money. I would avoid the whole transaction if I could.
You can pay through Pay Pal with a credit card and not have a Pay Pal account at all, too. This should be an option at any Pay Pal location, but the trick is to not sign in but to tell them you want to pay without a Pay Pal account.
It's been awhile, but I'm pretty sure I remember these details correctly.
