I made some xocolatl hot chocolate and I think I added a bit too much mix, because it feels like my throat is on fire. Amazingly, the spice isn't burning my mouth too much, but it's killing my throat. Oh well, this stuff is still da shit. Chocolate is definitely improved with the addition of chile peppers & cinnamon. Those Aztecs were definitely onto something with this combo.

2. Mayan...Aztec...whoever they got the chocolate thing down.
The mix is made by Dagoba. It's all organic fair-trade.

3. Dagoba makes some mighty fine chocolate bars too.

I look for fair-trade foods as much as possible.

:hi:

4. Did you remember to put fries and slaw in your hot chocolate?

5. No, I'm not a huge fan of fried foods and I don't eat cole slaw.
It freaks me out. I won't even eat things that touch cole slaw.

6. Ditto on the slaw, at least the slaw with white sauce
Vinegar slaws aren't quite as horrid and untouchable.

7. Yeah, the vinegar is way less disturbing.
The health food store I used to work at also made a slaw with kale and nayonaise (a vegan mayo). That was actually quite good. The nayo is definitely less gross in salads than mayo and kale has more of an actual flavor than cabbage.
