1. its going to be one hell of a race... |
|
for the AL central and wild card....one of these teams aren't going in...Bosox are pretty much out of it, unless they string a lot of wins together....but Tigers/Twins/White Sox...now, thats going to be a battle and a half....
Personally, I'm pulling for the Twins/Tigers...two underrated ball clubs, who don't get much attention....:) Plus, Whitesox won last year, lets get another champ in there...:hi:

2. don't forget the NL wild card race |
|
the Padres, Giants, Phillies, and Marlins are in one hell of a dog fight. An example? the Padres and Giants split their series, and the Phillies and Marlins split theirs as well. It's seriously going to come down to the last day.

baseball has had a lot of meaningful good games this year...for the NL wild card, I'm still supporting the Astro's...they have the potential, but man, they are so inconsistant...I was hoping they would get a bat or two at the trade deadline, but they got...Aubry Huff? I was hoping they would at least get Carlos Lee...get some power. IMO Houston has only 2 bonafide hitters, Biggio(who is fading) and Berkman...I am saddened that Bagwell's career seems to be over...:(

Dude, the Giants, Padres, Reds and Astros are all in pennant races! My neck may be permanently screwed up from looking over my shoulder so much at SF and San Diego!
And I love it. :bounce:
If this is what the wild card does — make people concede the pennant — it oughta be scrapped.

10. it's all one big scrap |

i say the wild card 'cause obviously the phillies and marlins are only in the wild card race, unless the mets explode big time. regardless, the last 20 days are going to cause a lot of sore necks. this is fun, I hadn't expected the Marlins to be in the hunt and had expected Sept to nice and easy for me, now it feels like 2003 again! :bounce:

6. They did a hell of a lot better this year than anyone expected |
|
So, give them a break, okay? They have been so bad for so long, even if they don't win it all this year, we are happy that they won more games than they lost.
If only it would rub off on the Lions.
