3. They took up 15 minutes! |
|
From the bottom of the half hour untiul almost a quarter 'til!
It was sad seeing all those there who lost loved ones at the Pentagon, but truth be told, if I wanted to see it, I could turn to CNN (or any other media whore news network) and see it ad nauseum over the next several days.

5. Thanks for the warning |

I'll know how long to fast forward. I'm with you, my heart aches in sympathy for everyone who died and their friends and family but that doesn't mean I'm going to watch * exploit it for his own benefit.

6. Not much happened, actually. *Potential Spoiler* |
|
It seemed almost like a mini commercial for * when Kendall started pining for the safety of the baby. :puke:

7. This storyline is moving WAY too slow, in my opinion |
|
They need to speed things up. Things are heating up on OLTL, though. Lots of John McBain, my favorite character.
Kendall's baby is very cute, though. Much cuter than Bree on OLTL.

8. When did they start filming "Kids"? |
|
Edited on Mon Sep-11-06 02:58 PM by JackBeck
I used to watch ALL the time, but got a 9-5 job so I don't get to see much. Watched last week while on vacation.
1) How did Jonathan become "normal"? Did he have another brain surgery? 2) Why is that guy after Lily? 3) Just how fast did Adam's daughter grow-up? It seemed like she was a baby just last year.
I love Dixie and happy that she's back. My husband saw her one day and told her how much I love her! Said she was sweet and cool.

9. I think AMC started in 1970 |
|
Jonathan hit his head in a fight and that made him regain his normal brain function.
The guy after Lily is who Jonathan fought with; Lily had run away to New York and the guy 'befriended her' but he is really a pedophile and was trying to make her sleep with him. He's after her again after spotting her in Pine Valley where he'd gone to track down his estranged wife and child (who, by all indications, seems to be Tad and Dixie's lost daughter, Kate).
Colby did one of those dramatic age advances that happen all the time when they need a teenage storyline.

10. Thanks for the update. |
|
By "filming", I meant that instead of the video format, it looks like it's being filmed, like a movie. Maybe even a digital format, but definitely not video. And they're doing all this shaky camera stuff that they never did before.
IMO, Colby is rather annoying to watch both as an actress and as a character.

I think the filming began this summer. I noticed it when I got back from vacation in early August.
I like Sydney better than Colby; you're right, Colby is extremely annoying.
I love watching soaps precisely because they are so unrealistic. I far prefer them to reality TV or endless crime scene dramas. So I tape AMC and OLTL every day and watch them instead since my cable company moved SoapNet to digital only.
Plus I work an an NPR affiliate so I get news and info all day. I'm ready for something mindless in the evening.

12. Way better than reality tv. |
|
I've watched "AMC" for about 15 years. Back in the Hayley/Trevor days. The first episode I watched was when Hayley found a hidden treasure inside a jukebox. That's all I can remember, right now.
OK, who's Sydney? Is she the girl that Colby keeps on being snotty to?

Sydney is the maid, Winifred's niece who is working at the Chandler mansion for the summer. When Crystal discovered that she was almost 16 too, she made Colby share the Sweet Sixteen party.

14. As with all the characters, Colby will have several epiphanies |
|
Edited on Mon Sep-11-06 05:56 PM by Whoa_Nelly
along with heartache, hair, make up and clothing style changes, and we will learn to love her as we did with Kendall, Hayley, Skye (ever so long ago), and others.
Otherwise, the current Colby will be replaced for having such a natural brat face as she "matures" over the next year and heads off to PVU.

15. Have been watching it since 1971. |

When I went to work in Alaska for one summer back in the '80s, I saw part of one episode at a nearby lodge in over the 4+ months I was there. Didn't miss much :P
