Good morning, everyone!
:donut: :hi:

I hope you got lots of sleep last night! I didn't wake up to a mini flood today, so we're off to a good start. :bounce:

How 'bout you? :grouphug:

1. Good morning!
Yay for no mini floods!

Umm...so far, I've experience the excitement of being dive-bombed by a hummingbird while smoking a ciggarette on the deck. It was quite bizarre, I just saw and heard something diving at the side of my head. I started flailing and then I saw it zip in front of me and into the woods. I like hummingbirds, provided they don't attack me at random.

3. Good morning, haruka3_2000!
:hi: :donut:

Hmmm ... dive-bombed by a hummingbird? I'd say that hummingbird had too much sugar. I've never heard of such a thing. I hope he doesn't bring all his friends back! :scared:

2. Good Morning, AirmensMom
Hooray! No flood for you! I am happy to hear that. And I do hope your troubles clear up soon.

I slept well, thanks.

Currently I am listening to some music, finishing my last cup of coffee for the day and reading the forums.

Have a pleasant day! :bounce: :hi: :grouphug:

4. Good morning, buddhamama!
:hi:  Funny how it is ... we're happy when something DIDN'T happen.

You have a pleasant day, too! Joani's still sleeping, but I had to get up and feed the cats. I think I could fall asleep again. :boring:

6. Good morning, miss_american_pie!
:hi: I almost wish it had flooded again ... so I could get someone to fix it. The worst problems are intermittent ones. x(

Got any good plans today? :bounce:

:D

I don't know what we're doing today. It's a beautiful day, so the possibilities are endless.:woohoo:

11. Good morning, Miss Joani!
:hi: :donut:

I'm glad you feel wonderful today! You're looking lovely, as ever. I'm glad you're enjoying the coffee. :9

What's that frying pan about? You want eggs and bacon for breakfast? :bounce: Sounds good to me!

What're we gonna do today? People are already asking!

15. Seeing as how we stayed up 1/2 the night ... maybe a BLT for lunch.
It seems like too much effort to have bacon and eggs this morning.

Thanks for the complement. :loveya: You're pretty cute yourself sitting over there in your flowered jammies.

Maybe we should think about having lunch with your lovely daughter. I can have a BLT anytime.

Do you want to go looking at anymore brick and stone combinations? We were talking about looking over your ceiling fan options.

OR We could visit Davey Crockett's birthplace. I really do want a raccoon tail for the Cruiser's antenna. It's not as easy to spot in parking lots as my big old pickup truck.

17. Hm ...
We have no bread, no bacon, no tomatoes, and very little lettuce. Fat lot of good our trip to the store did!

Flowered jammies? Those abstract thingies are flowers? :wow:

Lunch with harleykid? Sure! I can call her and see if she wants to do that! :bounce: Great idea!!!!!! On the other hand, we could do that on a rainy day and go to Davey Crockett today! Let's let harleykid decide what day she wants to meet for lunch.

Nope, no more brick and stone. 86 the stone altogether ... harleydad agrees. :applause:

21. Whew ...
I'm glad to hear that HarleyDad likes your decision. Has he seen the photos you took yesterday?

I honestly can't understand what the brick masons were thinking as they were adding the Lick 'n Stick. It needs a better offset application to resemble Fieldstone. Back to the drawing board.

22. Nope.
They're still locked up in the camera. I have to go find my cable so I can upload them. Maybe I'll do that after my shower.

Lick 'n Stick is lighter than brick or real stone, so it can go in more places. It's expensive, but the labor is cheaper than with brick or real stone. Still, I think we're going to ditch that idea. :P

23. I was going to make furniture using rocks, crystal and cement.

Perhaps after I move south permanently I'll look into the Lick 'n Stick options.

14. It's a beautiful afternoon here, 3 p.m.
And Ginger is snoozing away in his bed upstairs. He went down for his morning nap at 10 a.m. and probably will mosey downstairs very soon to demand that I feed him roast beef by hand. A crazy-cat-lady's work is never done, ya know.

I fed the kitties exactly two hours ago. Satchmo is part hobbit -- needs a second breakfast. Give a hug to Ginger for me. Sylvester is out snoozing on the deck. He's fat and happy these days. Eat, sleep, cuddle. What else is there?
