Holy crap, I really have lost some weight!
I normally wear size a 9 in juniors or an 8 in misses/womens. I was a 12 for a year or so after I had the kid, so that was already a huge improvement. Lately I noticed that my pants were a bit loose so my sister got me some when she was shopping (it's really better for all involved to keep me out of women's clothing stores, I don't know what the hell will look good and the prices scare me) and she got me some pants. They fit and are even perhaps a bit loose in the waist.

They're a size 5! I am officially down to my pre-pregnancy pants size! :woohoo:

I celebrated my making a hot fudge sundae. No wonder it took me five years and change to loose my baby weight. :eyes:

In all seriousness, good job....:) A size 5 is pretty small though. One of my old flames was a size 3, and she was really slim.....

7. I'm only 5'2"
I'm still pretty curvy on the bottom, but not disproportionately so.

I'm between a 2 Petite and a 4 Petite.

When you're under 5'2"
It's not too little.

8. Good Karma Rice Cream
It's pretty good, but I think I like Soy Delicious Purely Decadent a bit better. I'm still waiting to get Chicago SoyDairy Temptation out here, I hear that stuff is the gold standard of vegan ice cream, but they haven't got much west coast distro yet.

14. I really need to add in some sort of excersise
The problem is the only thing along those lines I really enjoy is riding my bike to someplace, and I don't live in a neighborhood where that's very safe anymore, so I need to figure out something else.

15. I did the McDougall diet for a while
I think I really need to get back to that more, I lost a ton of weight when I was on it, but it's definitely time intensive in terms of meal preparation because it's a very low fat vegan diet and of course there's not a lot of convenience food that qualifies.

10. Great news, my dear LeftyMom!
It is sooooo hard to lose any sort of weight.......

I'm happy for your success!

I've been at it for probably 10 years or nearly so......

Came down from 198 to 155 right now.......

I haven't looked this good since before I was married, 41 years ago!

:toast:

16. That's a pretty big loss!
I think at this point I mostly need to work on toning up what I've got, and on my midsection. I'm still not really happy with my body, but I'm perhaps a bit closer than I was a few months ago.

I too have been losing weight. I went through some trials and tribulations there for a while and became extremely depressed. Needless to say I put on some weight. I'm slowly getting back to my norm which is about a 6-8 through proper diet and excercise. Excercise is very important and the lesson I have learned is, I don't wanna be pleasantly plump. I used to excercise all the time then fell off the wagon and now I'm back on!!

Be proud!!

18. Depression makes it hard
The big challenge for me when my mood is down is getting motivated to prepare healthy food and not eat convenience food. Also when my mood is off I tend to have big fluctuations in appetite where I hardly eat some days and others I am famished, and I'm sure that does a number on my metabolism.
