Going to the Eagles/Giants game! |
|
Haven't been to an NFL game in years! Wife's company is sponsoring a trip there complete with a pre-game tailgate party at the baseball park across the street. Taking 2 friends of mine, one of which I haven't seen in years. Should be fun! Look for the liberal on tv and wave at me! :D

4. I was thinking of going to that. Glad I didn't. |

Giants fans will think of it as a great win, but as an Eagles fan, it was just a massive choke. I've never been a fan of Reid's playcalling or clock management when he has the lead. What was it with those short sidelines passes and lack of a quarterback sneak on the 4th and less than 1? I'm not hopeful that he'll change. Also, McNabb needs to show a bit more leadership and edge out there.
Now on top of this, Kearse is out for the rest of the season. I'm not giving up yet, though, as the next two games should be wins. And then, they should be fired up for the Cowboys.

5. The crowd was NOT happy, that's for certain. |
|
I didn't really have a dog in the fight, so I enjoyed the game because it was just a good one to see. But, it was a massive choke.
As far as the Cowboys are concerned, they really are. They were selling t-shirts outside that said Cowboys suck, T.O. Swallows. lol

they were despondent. Then as we got closer to home we turned on WFAN and, well, the opposite, of course. :)

seeing a lot of Luke Petitgout on the sidelines. He's a cousin, and he would recognize me for sure, even though I don't see him much. My grandmother on my mother's side was adopted, and he's a member of her family.
When Luke was handling Akers, I said "please don't hurt him, Luke - we need him!"
For anyone interested in his politics, I really don't know. Probably not very political.

9. I believe Philly has one of the most incompetent coaches in pro |
|
football. I don't care how many games the Eagles win, their coach makes some mighty stupid mistakes especially in the big games.

10. Can't disagree that he's overrated |
|
His playoff wins are against mediocre coaches.
