I suggest the book "Sight Hound" by Pam Houston |
|
just finished reading it, and really enjoyed it.
Just thought I'd put the word out!
Anyone else read anything they've liked a lot lately? I'm now starting "Our Man in Havana" by Graham Greene... so far, very good.

2. a woman (Rae) and her Irish Wolfhound (Dante) |
|
Dante has osteosarcoma, and there is no secret that he will die before the book is over, but the book is about Dante teaching Rae that "love is stronger than fear". It is written from many different viewpoints - Rae, some of the men in her life, some of her friends, two veterinarians, Dante and the other dog Rose, plus a few others.
It's just interesting and well written, and if you like or love animals, it's that much better....
