I'm not usually one to believe in karma... but
I was at the local Macy's here in Connecticut, going down an escalator with my 3 year old daughter. Now, she's generally fine on stairs and things like escalators, but I worry a bit anyways and always try to stay close to her in case she stumbles.

We were almost to the bottom when some guy comes barreling down the escalator screaming, "out of my fucking way I have to piss." Yes, he really was screaming to the point where everybody was looking at him. I was wondering if somebody at the store was calling security.

So, naturally I turn to glare at the guy for his language and he says something like, “I don't fucking care who hears me”

By that time, we were off the escalator and the guy tears by us and hops on his skateboard. He lasted about 2 seconds on his skateboard and he just wiped out & took a hard fall. A really hard fall where he ended up flat on his back.

While I normally don’t enjoy the sufferings of other people or believe in things like karma, but I found myself thinking about karma and things like, “And I hope he pissed his pants, too.”

1. The guy had a skateboard? In Macy's?
That's weird. Anyway, I would have delighted in his bad fortune - assholes like that need to come down a few pegs.

4. he may have been walking through?
Cutting through the store in an effort to find a restroom?

It was a Macy's in a shopping mall.

6. I wasn't close enough to find out
I took my daughter & headed in the other direction while he was rolling on the floor in pain.
