It always seems to die down toward the end of summer, at least it seems that way to me. I think a lot of it has to do with parents and students of all ages settling into new home/school/interpersonal routines: grade school kids starting school, high school kids maybe changing schools, college kids moving away from home/back to school and family helping with the move; new morning, transportation, meal, study and extracurricular activity schedules to coordinate with pre-existing job schedules, that kind of stuff.

I think too a lot of people are looking at summer waning and trying to fit a few more of those summer projects into their days while the daylight still runs later and before the weather gets too cold (for us northerners). I know I've been away from the computer to accomodate a few of those outdoorsy things.

I did see eyepaddle post a few days ago (yay!), IIRC he said that he is fine but has been busy lately.

15. I'm here intermittently

I sneak peaks and posts while I'm at work now. Problem: My home DSL is on the fritz, and I haven't had a lot of time to sit down and try to figure out what's wrong, other than the obvious reasons, which all worked fine. So I need a tech to come look at it.

I do miss chatting with you guys in the evenings though. :-(
