Shameless Pet Boasting...
Ok, I think I have a gorgeous (if eccentric) cat. I've never been able to post her pic on here before, but I hope I can now. So here's my baby Angel...

And during one of her "shy" moments (or maybe Bush was on the TV, who knows?)

1. She's a beauty!
I love when kitties cover their eyes when they sleep-it's so cute.

4. Thanks
I found this baby at the animal shelter over 7 years ago, after I lost my 13 year old Persian to cancer. I can't imagine why anyone would want to give her up. :loveya:

8. White cat with blue eyes?
That's my favorite cat but I don't have one now. My first cat was white with blue eyes and named Sassafras. Many of these cats are deaf but she wasn't and got very annoyed when a new vet clapped their hands behind her head to see if she was deaf. Angel is a real beauty.

9. They told me at the animal shelter she may be deaf
..but I didn't care I wanted her anyway (she cuddled on my lap and told me to take her home, you see). They even did the hand clap thing at the shelter and she didn't respond, so I thought she was too. When I got her home she wasn't deaf at all. She just had everyone fooled!

11. I did have a deaf cat later
He was white with gold eyes and a wonderful cat. He showed up during the Iran Contra hearings and I named him Congressman Jack Brooks because of Brooks' white hair and he seemed to be one of the only ones standing up to Oliver North. Anyway I sent a letter to the Congressman about my cat and my cat received Christmas cards for a few years from him. Jack died at age 13 and made me realize that deaf pets are just great.

14. such beautiful fur babies
Little Angel is precious with that paw across her eyes!

Zoe looks like quite the spoiled baby. Beautiful markings.

Ronny, your black kitty looks like my Bitsey.

I wanna cuddle Frankie and Thomas!

I wouldn't trifle with Tiger but Sanji looks like maybe, just maybe, she might trust me.

I want a longhair so badly. I'm just having no luck at the shelters, though. I want to get a kitten as a buddy for my domestic shorthair, Bitsey. I'll keep trying but if anyone knows of some in NJ, please alert me!

15. Actually...both Sanji and Tiger are VERY people-friendly....
Tiger just "looks mean" but he is a very loving cat. Has never
scratched anybody...except me when we're playing rough.
