My Irish came back from 16 down in the 4th quarter and beat Michigan State. And My Aggies won. So I am a happy camper. Plus my Football watching kitty partner is back. Tiger sat and watched football with me this afternoon.

Dame showed it still has a lot of fight in 'em, just in time to face the sleepers at Purdue. And Nebraska got the freight train rollin' something serious--300+ yards rushing (against Troy, but still... the Aggies had better be ready). It's good to see the old school schools showing up again.
But if you want to talk real old school, how 'bout the original? The Rutgers Scarlet Knights are 4-0! Four and friggin' oh! No Scarlet Knight fan has been able to say that in 26 years, so congratulations are in order. The Big East has some teeth this year, while only my Hokies (and Wake Forest???) are showing any life in the ACC.
I'm still pulling for West Virginia this year, too. Is it possible that we could see an undefeated Rutgers face an undefeated WVU for the season-ender? Well, probably not. But this week, Rutgers fans, you can dream the big dream!

On any given Saturday, anyone can win. The players play for the win, and the coaches take the big chances. The spirit and the rivalry is awesome. You should see when Texasgal and I get after each other over Texas and Texas A&M. It is what is great about the game.
Rutgers is shocking everyone. West Virginia is also making people stop and take a look. I can not wait for the Big 12 conference games to get rolling so we can see who really is good or not.

This week, the Rutgers Scarlet Knights made the top 25 for the first time since dental floss was invented.
Rutgers has arguably been Number One before, when they defeated Princeton in the first football game ever, 6-4, in 1869.
