I like the oriental sesame/orange/ginger myself, these days.
Sometimes, when the mood strikes, an exquisite homemade Roquefort fromage bleu with tomatoes fresh from the garden, fresh romaine (or Boston) lettuce, mushrooms and a bit of red pepper....

often I eat salad totally undressed...the salad being undressed rather than me, I hasten to add.
Otherwise I make a dressing by grabbing things which are to hand...normally variation of olive oil and balsamic and or lemon juice.

Mainly because most of the varieties have no sugar. I don't know who decided that savory salad dressings should contain sugar, but it's everywhere. That's why I like Ken's! No sugar, and great taste.
I found a Litehouse jalapeno ranch that's great for dipping veggies.
