Video game addict bf (see http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=105&topic_id=5659166&mesg_id=5659166) waits until I leave to take the dogs on a walk. I ask every day if he wants to take them on a walk. Everyday the answer is no. Couldn't wait until I got back so that we could spend 15 mins together.

1. hmmm time to evaluate your relationship |
|
Other than that I don't know what to say other than I'm sorry and I hope you find peace in your life. It sucks to be in a situation like that where you're not being treated right.

It's time for you to get out of that relationship. I hope it works out for the best.

3. Ya mean you weren't pissed before? |
|
Sorry to be flippant. I've spent the afternoon watching football and drinking beer.
Hope my significant other isn't pissed at me.
Think I'll take our dogs for a walk now

8. My first husband was a lot like that |
|
always avoiding me. Avoiding the whole family...it was really annoying. I finally just gave up and started doing my own thing and pretty soon I realized I didn't need or want him in my life anymore. There were lots of other people who ENJOYED hanging out with me and I didn't need to work so hard to get any attention from. Leaving was hard, especially with three kids between us, but well worth it. Now I have a husband who is a real companion, he has his hobbies, but I never feel ignored or abandoned. I'm sorry you're in the middle of one of these painful scenarios. Good luck whatever you decide to do.
