I need some help on my VA disability claim, can somebody help me? |
|
I've submitted my claim to the VA for back problems. I'm a former military parachutist (UDT/SEAL) and they've denyed my initial claim.
Thanks in advance for any and all tips and info.

1. Well my nephew was an E5-QM2 says that you need to fight this |
|
He says you need to get a hold of your Congressperson and he says they will always deny your first go around and maybe even your second request.

Get as much documentation together as possible, including all past medical exam info and x-rays and other paperwork. Submit COPIES. Do NOT send ORIGINALS. They WILL lose them.
The good part is, when you're finally approved, you will get the money for all the way back to the date of your original claim. So keep ALL documentation.
I was an unusual case- I was approved the first time. This is almost unheard of, but then they can't say much when they have x-rays of a knee replacement and VA hospital treatment reports going back eight years about arthritic feet that look like they belong on a ninety year old...
On edit: This should have been a reply to the O.P. Sorry.
