I wish I'd stood up for myself, instead of waiting for my life to be more conducive. I didn't know much then, or I think I'd have been more motivated.

You might want to try preparing things you already know that he likes that are veg, and adding new things with the tastes that he likes (savory or spicy things or whatever) and get him used to a veg menu of things he enjoys.

I did find that when I was partnered with an omni it was useful to remind him that I didn't expect him to go veg just because I had, and that he could eat anything he wanted outside the house.

You might want to see if anybody in the veg form has better advice, myself I gave up on dating omnis (and I'm very glad I did, for obvious reasons) but I know there are people down there with omniverous partners who might be able to help.
