I am so tired of trying to perform resuscitation on these God-damn fucking broken crumbled shitty headphones. I have skinned my fingers, stabbed myself in the stomach, palms of my hands, and my finger tips. All that effort and all I have to show for it is bloody, bruised, sore fingers tonight.

All that fucking work only to find out that the umpteenth ridiculous sorry ass engineering feature of the headphones, a completely separate problem made all my effort tonight worthless. I finally found a piece of metal to replace the crappy 60 degree angled piece of shitty plastic that broke and will not stay put even with a whole tube of crazy glue only to find that the telephone coiled chord is fucked up. The little squeezy thing on the telephone plug has finally worn out and broken off. After years of repairs on this set of headphones, I have finally given up. Fuck 'em. If I had a gun, I'd skeet shoot them over and over again and cuss the fucker who designed them. (I'd take the speakers out of them first. The speakers are good. Too bad they wasted good speakers in such a shittily designed set of headphones.)

Either I do without headphones or dip into my savings to buy new ones. I'm leaning toward doing without until I can get some that are NOT designed like this pair. I had decided to buy another set with a different brand name. Upon closer inspection, I discovered they are designed with the exact same shitty engineering skills. I'd like to personally sucker punch the fucker who came up with this extremely flawed design. :mad:

Either way, I'm getting an oven tomorrow. Finally, after two years of frying and boiling, I will be able to make a homemade pizza, bake a turkey and/or chicken, make quiche, make meatloaf and chicken dressing. Now, if only I could get some more recipes for baking. While I bake, I will continue to mourn my good set of headphones that finally wore out after 15 years of use and cuss the sombitch who designed the next set I bought that only lasted a couple of years. I can usually fix the speakers that go out, but this certain set I have now uses telephone wire, tiny fine wire you can't really splice very easily, and they have been nothing but trouble.

Thanks for the recipe lead. I'm hunting down recipes until I find a dish that sounds like I could handle it. Sooner or later, I'll become a great cook. I'm pretty good with dishes on top of the stove, but have had only a little experience with baking as my cooking career has been spotty in the oven area. I haven't even had access to an oven in over two years now. It's sad really, because no one loves baked goodies more than I do.
