Anyone Here Good In Carpentry? Building Furniture?
I have gone to almost five stores looking for a small ottoman type of seat w/storage for our five year old daughter to use as a seat for her little table in her room. Why in the heck are they so expensive? The last one I found that was on sale at a furniture discount store that I liked was 75 dollars. Are they time consuming to make? I am just baffled by the high prices. My husband and I aren't very good at carpentry, but I thought maybe we could attempt to make one ourselves. Any suggestions on where we should start and what kind of wood we should use? Hinges?
