A helpful tip when shopping for paint at Lowe's
ALWAYS check the "Island of Misfit Toys" before looking at color swatches & banging your head against a brick wall trying to decide between "Beige Sand" & "Sand Beige." I think it was Lefty Mom who really scored big on this a week or so ago, essentially having Lowe's pay HER to paint her house. (Please correct me & forgive me if I'm wrong ;) ) I'm still waiting for my $5 refund & I paid full price!

But today, while stopping in for another paint trim color (dark green, as suggested online, just wasn't working for me  ), I glanced over to the "Island" & saw tons of paint that had been returned, including two gallons of lavendar, a color that I want to paint my computer room! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: Of course, I only bought one gallon & that is a bit too much for the room I'm going to paint, but I couldn't pass up saving $20+ on the gallon PLUS all the time I'd spend fiddling around looking for "the" perfect shade of lavendar, running back to Lowe's looking for another color, painting that on the wall, hating it, etc.
