Went to Church Tonight... |
|
...a Catholic mass. Interesting reading from the Bible: "If you are not against us, you are with us."
That's kind of the opposite George W. Bush said, isn't it? If Mr Bush is such a holy man, why did he screw that up so badly? (rhetorical question).
Hey, one more thing for all of you late-comers to mass: If someone got to the church early, and got a good seat at the end of a pew, it's not for the sole purpose of having to give it up to YOU! Some people have a lot of nerve. And, what are you going to do, except give up the end spot, when you are in church? :eyes:

1. That brought such lovely images to my mind |

A scuffle at the end of the pew! :spray:
I'm not Catholic (not Christian actually - not really anything) but I've always enjoyed the Catholic mass. There's something really soothing about the ritual of it all. I used to go to midnight mass on Christmas Eve with my first husband, who was Catholic. That was my favorite. Starry sky, midnight mass. Pretty cool.

2. I love midnight mass, on Christmas eve too |

It's very beautiful, and really seems to celebrate Christmas well...for me, and my family, anyway. I was raised Southern Baptist, by the way. But, I always considered myself a bad Baptist because I drink. Now, I'm a bad Catholic because I am pro-choice and advocate using birth control! There is no perfect religion...that's for sure!
