I need some good thoughts. Prayers are okay, too.

My sister called me yesterday. Her youngest daughter and her family were involved in an auto accident. My niece was airlifted to the hospital. She was moved into the ICU. I also found out she is pregnant with her third child. This child is due in November. Her boyfriend was also hurt, though, not as badly as my niece. The children are both fine. My sister and brother-in-law went to see her last night. I know this sounds callous, but, I'm more concerned about my niece than her unborn child. She has two children who need her. As I was speaking with my sister, I could hear my niece's daughter chattering in the background.

I will update as I hear any more information.

I have some good news to report. My niece is home from the hospital. I called my sister this afternoon. I was surprised and pleased to hear this considering my niece was in the ICU. The nurse there told my niece that she was the best looking patient they had in the ICU. The other patients tended to die. She'll have to see a neuroligist (sp) and her obstetrician. Thank you again for all the prayers and thoughts.
