I got my flu shot today and I feel like crap

All my muscles are sore and I already took 2 Motrin (over the counter shit) about an hour ago. I wish I'd taken a left-over Darvocet, from my post-surgery, instead...well, too late for that.

*sigh* This never happened before...and I've had flu shots, every year, since 1996. Ugh. At least I don't work tomorrow. :-(

In 1996, I got a full-blown case so badly I almost had to be hospitalized. That is why I get one every single year. I don't know why this one made me feel so awful. Maybe it's because my allergies have been attacking my system all week, too...and my body is rejecting another invasion. Who knows?

Personally, I just take oscillocosium weekly during flu season and I can't remember the last time I had the flu.

I just explained to Peggy, after the very serious bout I had in 1996, I get one every year. It was really a full-blown case, I got, that year. I was sheet white (as if I'm not pale enough) and I heard the nurse say, to my husband, she was very concerned about me. I never told anybody this, because I didn't want to be hospitalized, but I actually got chest pains from the flu that time.

I remember the swine flu shots of 1976. It has been many, many years since I have had the flu and have never had a case that has been any worse than a bad cold.
