I am livid about this site, and through Google I found that you guys made the webmaster's life hell last year...

It seems Michael Crook is back yet again with http://www.disownthetroops.com

After looking at the site, I was so irate, because I come from a military family and my husband's in Iraq right now.

What is this guy's major malfunction? Doesn't he know he owes the very freedoms he uses to men like my husband, father and grandfather? I'm so angry right now I could....well...you know. Something not nice.

1. Well, not your husband unfortunately.

The Iraq war has nothing to do with our freedom or the freedom of the Iraqis. It's a stupid, pointless illegal war, in which our troops should not be dying for.

Nevertheless, I thank your husband for his service. I've got a couple friends over there, including one from the 72nd Stryker Brigade, so he's indefinitely extended.

The troops need to come home now.

2. You know, I sincerely doubt that you'll find many people on DU

who know or care anything about this Crook fellow. Any ignorant 6th-grader can make a web page, and there is little point getting worked up about every asinine outburst that bubbles up from the depths.

Thank your husband for his service; it's a shame that his and that of so many others is being wasted and misused by this corrupt and incompetent administration.
