Have you ever won a contest?

Not like a contest of strength, but a drawing or a sweepstakes or the like.

When I was 10 I won a case of motor oil at a picnic raffle. Yip-dee-freakin'-do.

1. I won Gatorade stuff

It was the contest where under the cap was an NBA team with a number. If that team won in the number of games, you won a bunch of free gatorade stuff. I won a gatorade bag, towel, water (or gatorade) bottle, tee shirt, bandana, hat, and of course cannisters of gatorade. I really was quite excited.
I also won a mall gift certificate in high school from a raffle for those who signed an anti smoking pledge.

is more selling out than winning something. :D

9. I've won several things over the years.

Most recently, tickets to see the Dixie Chicks at the VH1 Storytellers taping (it was awesome). Have also won a trip to NYC, t-shirts, albums, books (Salon used to do great giveaways), etc.

10. In first grade I got to take care of the class rabbit over winter break

IIRC, there were five other people in the drawing. I'm sure there have been other times, but that one sticks out in my mind right now.
