That's right, the ex-Replacements leader wrote a couple of quiet, sentimental ballads for the movie Open Season. Naturally, I liked them a lot.

I don't spend a lot of time in the Lounge anymore, but I saw your recent threads and I'm sorry for what you're going through.

Trust me when I say that nice guys have the worst luck sometimes, and they can get themselves dumped on, but when everything comes together, it's wonderful. I know that you'll see what I mean soon.

I had some good stuff today. The light at the end of the tunnel, so to speak.

It's very painful, but I'm getting through it with scotch and swimming laps. On the plus side, I'm lookin' good. :D
