How to blow your budget in one day.
Invite your grandson over ... the one you haven't seen for a year because he lives so far away. Then go toy shopping. After all, an active little boy needs something to play with, and all the toys are packed away in the boxes that happen to be on the bottom of the stack. You don't have to buy EVERYTHING he wants, but a few $20 toys will add up pretty quickly.

Ask me if it's worth it ...

HELL YES! :bounce: :woohoo: :loveya: :grouphug:

2. Actually,
it took more than 5 minutes. When he found out he couldn't have everything in the store, it took at least 10 minutes for him to narrow down his choices.

:toast: :bounce: :hi:

4. I'm hopeless!
I promised to spoil him, but at least I won't send him home bratty. I can't believe how fast he's growing up.

6. I hope so!
:hi:  :loveya: So far, his favorite toy is a $6 styrofoam airplane. Does it ever fly! :bounce: Almost flew over the fence to the cows' yard the other day, but it hit the top wire and stopped there.

9. So you'd be in REAL trouble
if you had a kid visiting you. No, wait -- you could read your comic books to the kid all day long. :P

11. This is why I LOVE the $1 store
I don't know how old your grandson is but my 6yr old daughter is just as crazy looking at the toys at the $1 store as she is at Toys R Us. I know it won't last for much longer so I'm relishing every cheap moment of this while I can. ;)

16. Hi wildhorses!
:hi: Yeah ... we're having fun. We sure does wear a body out, though!

We haven't gone over budget on the house yet. But that's probably because no one has sent any bills to the builder. We're going to come in under budget for the well! :bounce:

Anyway ... good to see you! :bounce: :loveya:  :hi:
