1. "The Joshua Tree" (U2), "Thriller" (Michael Jackson), also these four:
"The Immaculate Collection" (Madonna), "License to Ill" (Beastie Boys), "LA" (X), "Whammy!" (B-52s). Sorry.

7. U2 "The Joshua Tree", REM's "Murmur, the Clash "London
Calling." Those are my favorites. I think, though...that "London Calling" came out in 1979??

"Document" doesn't hold a candle compared to "Murmur."

For the record, Rolling Stone had it #4 on the albums of the decade. Only one other you have on your list ranked higher, and yes, it was #1.
