I just realized that my Jeep is a couple months overdue for inspection. One of the headlight covers is cracked from when a dumbass deer decided to run into it last winter. The headlight itself works. Should I get my car inspected at a corrupt NJ garage or will the DMV not care about it and pass my Jeep?

1. In Louisiana they would have cared, and you'd have to fix it and come back |

That in no way addresses your question, however. My take, when in doubt, go with the corrupt bubbas, and slip them an extra $20 as necessary...

2. Well as an old boyfriend who worked in a garage used to say, |
|
"Do you want a sticker, or do you want an inspection?" :-)
Seriously though, I think if the headlight works, the cracked glass is not a problem.

3. Yeah, I just want a sticker. |

I'm getting rid of it in a few months. It has like 143,000 miles on it. It's a throwaway car.
