7. A really intense group therapy session tonight where the spotlight was on
Edited on Mon Oct-02-06 07:46 PM by Liberalynn
Me! I cried. I hate that! Tonight was one of those rare nights where talking things out made me feel worse instead of better!

I think I am PMSing though and I always get over emotional and way too philosophical, and chatty for my own good, so that could have a lot to do with it, but I really want to stop crying at the drop of a hat.

12. I freaking hate that.
I hate group therapy. Hate it, loathe it, despise it.

I've only done it twice, because where I was getting antidepressants from made me go as part of the deal. I'm not on them anymore, part of the reason is because I hate group so much. It's pure torture.

16. Torture is how it felt tonight!
Edited on Mon Oct-02-06 08:17 PM by Liberalynn
Since there were only two of us tonight, too much focusing in on me. The other group member was understanding and helpful but the two therapists were like really grilling me tonight and I just didn't feel like disscussing me tonight.

That's good that you were able to get off the anti depressants. Right now I am only on Paxil and a low dose anti-anxiety drug. I did ask my Primary Care if she could prescribe them, but she says she still thinks I need to check in wth the therapists because though the depression is improving, the anxiety isn't.

I would have much rather been here reading about Rethuglicans imploding on themselves. That's much more theraputic and interesting.

48. I have been dealing with this for a quite a while - I'm a pro by now.
I have been through so much talk therapy that I'm about done with it. I just decided, after a few years of being off, that I needed to start retaking my meds again for a while. They have helped tremendously! :D

23. A torn something in my shoulder
I took quite a header in August and the pain is still there, I've been living on ibuprofen and aleve prescription strength. I haven't been able to sleep like I normally do since then, only on my back or side.
Harvest time is right around the corner I'll be living on medical marijuana then.

:yoiks: Starting this Friday: I'm going to see my father in PA to celebrate his 75th birthday. Leaving Friday with my sister and brother and coming back Monday. Back in my office Tuesday, then I leave Wednesday for Atlanta for a conference. Drive back Friday evening. Leave Saturday morning for my husband's niece's wedding four hours away. Drive back from said wedding Saturday night. :yoiks: :( I think I'll be a little tired after all that...

51. Anxiety.
I don't know if I'll ever be completely over it.

Years ago, I would have said I am recovering from anorexia, but it's been so many years, I don't think of myself as in "recovery" for that. With few lapses, I've been eating normally since I was about 15.
