I have a reason for asking. Does a woman who never got medical attention, who had 8 kids, who wouldn't even take an aspirin if she had a headache------ if there is a "mass" what does it mean now? (I realize the information is sketchy =====amd I'm NOT being frivolous)

I had a "mass" on my ovary years ago. Was a benign tumor which was surgically removed.

4. A 'mass' isn't necessarily cancer |
|
A doctor should definitely evaluate it, but it could be a lot of things far less serious than cancer. Even if it is malignant, the earlier treatment starts the better. Don't let her self-diagnose cancer if that means she won't bother to go to the doctor.
(Caveat: I am not a medical professional of any sort, and have little personal experience with cancer.)
