This story about a kid dying from a ball pit incident is NOT real. If you get any message about it please don't re-send. If you don't believe me google "Ball Pit Hoax" and see all the articles talking about it being a hoax for yourself. here is one site that has looked into it themselves:

( Read the whole story at http://www.hoax-slayer.com/ball-pit-death.html )

This hoax email about hypodermic needles in McDonald's ball pits began circulating late last century and has spawned a number of versions. The tale is so horrific that it is not surprising that the email continues to spread.

Thankfully, the email is a hoax. No little boy named Kevin Archer died as a result of being pricked by a heroin filled hypodermic needle in a McDonald's ball pit.

When the story first began circulating, McDonald's responded with a statement debunking the rumor. According to McDonald's:

We have thoroughly investigated this rumor and it is absolutely not true. There have been no such incidents ever reported at any McDonald's. In addition, there has never been an article in any newspaper regarding this rumor

1. Pretty much any health warning or similar things that people hear about
only in email is a hoax.

Snopes is a great resource. I have a friend who insists on sending me these ridiculous stories and every time I send back a link from snopes or similar source debunking the myth.
