Friends you make plans with, then they get something better to do....

Annoying as all get out. Or not?

What really irks me is that this is the second time in a row that she has pulled this. And then is annoyed with me if I am unavailable because I have something else to do or just way too much to do to be able to spare the time.

4. Actually, this was planned for Sunday.

What she is going to do now does sound like fun....ride an antique train from Chicago to Galena and back again the same day. A bit of schadenfreude here...it is a non-smoking train and she chain smokes. Plus, she'll have to be downtown at Union Station for a 7:30 a.m. departure...and normally sleeps until 8:30.

i can't remember if i've been there (the specifics) but i'm pretty sure i have.

train rides are way cool, especially if they have a club car.

There will be booze and dinner on the return trip. And she can't hold her booze very well.

She actually lives a very sad life, much of it of her own choosing. Therapy would do her some good, but she doesn't believe in it.
