What's yer hobby?
Tell me what you like to do as a hobby or would LIKE to do...and keep it clean!
I would like to learn how to do stained glass.

1. You should start with stained glass cookies
We used to make them at Christmas time when I was a kid. Get a few bags of multi colored charms sour balls and separate them out. Crush them to a fine powder. Take sugar cookie dough and roll it out into bars and shape it into whatever outline of a form you want. Fill in the spaces with the powdered sour balls and bake.

I think the closest thing I have to a hobby is my DVDs, I have over 900 titles and growing :)

3. I volunteer in my spare time.
I guess you could call it a "hobby". I take kids on field trips in the woods. I also dress up in a costume and tell stories as "Prairie Mary". I've been volunteering with children for five years now, and I love it.

11. Very cool...
when I was in high school I was in forensics (speech) and I competed in storytelling. I used to go tell stories to the elementary school kids for practice before competitions. It was a lot of fun.

7. Flower arrangements.
MrSeattleGirl does wedding cakes as a hobby, and I often do live flower arrangements for the cake. Also do wedding bouquets, etc. We don't make money at it really; often, it's our gift to the couple, but it sure is a lot of fun.

12. Besides being naughty (which is a hobby unto itself)
 I love to read. I love nonfiction, biographies, science fiction, and trashy novels. I also started making jewelry about a year ago, although I'm still not very good at it. I love funky jewelry and really dangly earrings, so I've tried my hand at it. I need to take a class and hone my skills, but it's fun anyway.

14. I would love to learn flower arranging
Edited on Thu Oct-05-06 03:44 PM by 1gobluedem
And needlepoint but I fear my hands are too clumsy for that. My current hobby is flower gardening and I do lots of art projects with my girls; I can draw and paint fairly well though not as well as I could before arthritis set in.

I also collect tacky souvenirs (three shelves full in my office) and various series books. I love to read so much it's more of an obssession than a hobby.

13 dogs, 1 rabbit, 7 cats.
