Well the dog just tried to bury a dead squirrel in the good couch
How's your afternoon?

He's got a corner of the couch where he keeps his toys under the pillow. He actually sleeps on that side of the couch so no one steals his stuff.

My son just had his football buddies over and they were horsing with the dog cause he had something in his mouth. Yup it was the dead squirrel. Son is mortified, I am disgusted. The squirrel's family was unavailable for comment.

2. Eeeew!
I love dogs, but sometimes they get into some nasty shit. Like eating cat turds out of the litter pan. I hope your day gets better. :hi:

3. Mmmmmm!
Doggies love that dead stuff, don't they?
I have one who has killed a couple of squirrels and brought them home for our approval - BLAH!
Sorry your son was blindsided by that unpleasantness...

4. Great visual
My cat generally deposits his disemboweled rodents on our welcome mat. Since I leave the house at 3:30 am, I've stepped on more than a few. :eyes: Aren't pets wonderful? (They are - i wouldn't trade him for the world)

5. OMG. That's kind of funny.

In a sick, gross sort of way.

Poor squirrel. I expect it will make a good family story for years to come, however. "Remember that time you had your friends over..."

6. Thanks for your commiserations
This one was only topped by a huge out door barbecue I had where a skunk let go between the dinner and dessert. What a way to clear a party!
