I'm scared...I mean, REALLY scared. |
|
Edited on Mon Oct-09-06 12:06 AM by badgerpup
Seismic readings on N. Korea's nuke have been confirmed. It's for real...they tested it. It's not N. Korea I'm scared of so much as how Bush is going to react... I'm afraid that he's going to try to declare war on N. Korea after all the bluster about how "...a nucular N. Korea would not be tolerated." :scared:
And I'm going to pretend that it matters...

1. Declare war with WHAT? |
|
Our military is stretched as thin as can be already.
Don't worry. This will not cause all-out war.

7. But there are still plenty of young men and women available |
|
to be cannon fodder for the "war president's" killing machine. A new class graduates every June.

3. Take the fatalistic attitude |
|
We're all gonna die. Just a matter of how and when. We have no control over either, never have-never will.
Live life day-by-day to it's fullest. And when you time comes, exit this world with no regrets. I intend to.

5. I'm concerned the Repubs will find a way... |
|
to score a few points off this. At the very least, it should take the Foley scandal off the front page. Expect Fear Incorporated to be huffing and puffing tomorrow on how a Democratically controlled congress will hamper Dubya's number one job, protecting us from Evil.
Unfortunately the security issue always seems to give the Pubs a bump in the polls.

9. Nah, Smirky will huff and puff and his lackeys will blame Clinton, |
|
but we're not going to war with NK.
I'm more concern about NK's command and control, can't be top o'line and what China will do.

11. Nah, NK doesn't have any oil |
|
If NK had oil, Bush would have sent in the National Guard already. I say National Guard, because we don't have any other troops to send to war.

12. China and S Korea are very worried too |
|
However, there's nothing we as individuals can do. Except enjoy life while we've got it.
May it be for a long, healthy while.

13. Bush can't declare war |
|
only congress can do that
Bush's behavior this time, when the populace is already not in his camp (where are his approval ratings?), will be scrutinized. He doesn't have the 70% backing he had in March '03
