Mind you I was 4 when I first saw it.

Hell, any movie that has animals, American patriotism (or fighting a foreign enemy), or people facing absurd odds makes me choke up.

7. movies don't make me cry easily
but Tom Hanks did such a good job in that movie. that scene with him laying on the raft crying after losing wilson just chokes me up. :(

6. My partner
thinks that is the funniest thing ever. I just stared at him wondering what the hell is wrong with him.
I'm thinking that his real life wife being named Rita Wilson helped to bring about the emotion he needed for that scene.
