It's Pasta Sauce day....
Edited on Mon Oct-09-06 07:51 AM by bicentennial_baby
w00t! :woohoo:

Hehe, and if I ever wrote down my recipes, I'd remember where to start :P

No matter, I know what goes in it, and how long it all cooks for, so I'll "make it work", as Tim Gunn of Project Runway would say :D

PS- Yes, yesterday's Beef Stew was a more than successful 1st attempt....9 hours of waiting was definitely worth it :D

23. You putting Butterball turkey in it?

I made sauce once with everything from the garden I had. That's back when I lived with my parents still. I had tomatoes, peppers, onions, fresh herbs, all I grew myself. The only thing I didn't grow was the garlic. It took forever and was a lot of work..lol. My sister had a friend of hers over who was Italian and told me my sauce was better than her grandmothers. I was proud, but I was only about 20, so I knew no better.

That was the last time I ever made sauce from scratch, although someday I might again.
