2. If someone hits on my b/f, I HIT them!
:P :) ;)

Just jokes of course.

I don't mind. I can't help it if other people think my b/f is a cutie. He is. :)

usually we joke it off, if one of us gets hit on.

I am very flirty, whether or not my b/f is in my presence or not. So I do get hit on often when we are out.

I just flirt. That's it. He seems to be cool with it. We know we're going home with each other, so I don't see the big deal if one of us gets hit on.

3. Normally it doesn't bother me.
The only time it ever did was when it was the crazy ex-gf of the girlfriend I had at the time. Anything that chick did bothered me though, especially when she eventually decided to jump me.

4. I get a kick out of it when guys mildly hit on my gf...
of course, if some guy walks up to her in a club and start grinding on her, I'll break his nose

Conversely, if a girl says anything other than "hi" to me, my gf tends to get a little catty.

10. Hey, I never flirt with anybody.
I mean, flirting with anybody would be kinda sleazy.

Flirting with specific people, on the other hand, is fun. It's all about having standards. Not high ones, but I won't flirt with anybody.

15. gay boys, gay men, lesbians; my friend Betsy is likely a more...
Edited on Mon Oct-09-06 01:41 PM by bridgit
accomplished lesbian than any lesbian here and SHE cooks for hubby, mends & alters his clothes (she'll only cook for one other man and he is gay...we say we are hubby's wives, she mentions it openly to others, hubby says, "finally, a woman that cooks for me, mends my clothes, listens to me, that doesn't give a shit about 'the kitty cat game') all of them flirt with my guy, and a couple from the ether in between, and none of it bothers me not one iota, cause they flirt with me too = whatever

16. I'd be disconcerted, but it'd be up to my SO.
If she wants to move on, it's her choice. If she'd rather stay with me, I'd make an extra effort to make her feel appreciated.

And if I ever get married, then I'd hope divorce never comes into play. I don't like the concept of divorce and to honor the vows is something I would do to the best of my ability (they are vows, not words of nominal value), but if I could see my parents remain married through thick and thin, it's amazing what some people will use as grounds FOR divorce.

17. I think it's kind of funny, or even hot, when someone hits on my husband,
(unless I'm standing there, or they know he's married- that's just disrespectful)..

My husband doesn't like it at. all.

20. I like it when guys flirt with my wife. My attitude is "Yeah, she's hot.
And she's going home with ME!"

My wife, on the other hand, doesn't like it when girls flirt with me. She worries that I might regret being married to her. As if! :eyes:

21. My reaction if someone hit on my SO would be,
"See, I told you that you're hot." My current SO sometimes has some self-esteem issues. But who doesn't?

If someone hit on me it depends on the gender of the person doing it. If it was a woman then I don't know how she would react. It probably depends on whether or not it's clearly meant in fun or real serious flirting.

If it was a guy hitting on me she's encourage me to flirt back. I don't get to flirt with guys nearly often enough.

22. I have mixed feelings about it
On one hand, I am glad that other women think that my husband is worth flirting with. In some cases though, I feel a little jealous. My husband seems to enjoy women hitting on me and doesn't get too upset about about guys. If we are at some sort of social event, he usually does join me, if he thinks that I've been talking to an attractive guy too long. My husband is a big and tall guy with muscle so most guys don't flirt too much if he is right there.
Sometimes, I get uncomfortable with guys hitting on me and feel harassed. There have been a couple of times that I wish my husband would have gotten upset and told them off.
