What a FANTASTIC day!! Over seventy degrees,
slight breeze, getting paid to mess around in somebody else's garden when messing in the garden is one of my most favoritest pastimes. I wish there were more days like this. I will finish it off with an episode or two of Buffy and a plateful of nachos. Sweet! :)

6. There are beautiful fall colors here in Maine.
They arrived quickly and are going to depart at the same pace, sadly. Today there wasn't even any fall "nip" in the air - it was like midsummer but without the bugs :)

I'm sorry you don't have the colors. But you've got the flowers and the jalapenos, and that's gotta count for something, right?

9. Mark me, my friend....
I have no Maine accent. If anything, I've retained a bit of the Canadian. It's important that nobody here imagines me with that accent. I couldn't bear it.

11. I'm glad. We have to make hay while the sun shines,
because pretty soon our only option will be to make snowmen...

this morning. Beautiful. Good painting light.

I hope we get more of these.
