Well, I have been scrapping peeling paint and
chalking seems in a wall all because some neighbor wrote us up the the "Home Association..."

So I'm out there with my O2 Tank, in plain sight trying to make the folks feel guilty...

Yea right, these people will probably vote for Blackwell..

Anyway, six hours spread over three days with plenty of down time...

Back when I painted houses for a living, I could have done the whole house...

Time Passages...

Damn, I sore....

I was planning on getting sidding next year....

Oh Well....

1. Well, damn those neighbors......
They should have volunteered to do it for you!

But don't hold your breath on that happening!

I'll bet you're sore....

I'm weary too....from my workout......which is voluntary!

Maybe some advil is in order.....or a hot bath?

Feel better!

2. Home owner associations are evil.
You shouldn't have to pay them to live in your own home. How retarded. And they shouldn't be able to sell your home out from under you if you don't either. Pisses me off.

3. I hope that the squealers felt guilty
but they probably don't care about anything but their own supposed 'property values.'

5. Ugh, da burbs.
One requirement I had when we moved here was no HOAs. Some people prefer to live with one but it's not for me. My neighborhood has CCRs but the owners are pretty relaxed about it. I suppose if I put a herd of goats in the backyard someone would complain, though.

6. So why did you let them make you do that? Remember this phrase:
"Fuck 'em if they don't like it."

Repeat as necessary.

8. Try having the local Hisorical Preservation Society
on your ass because somebody's told them you have replaced your windows with new, inappropriate ones (we didn't). I can't fault the Society, but I sure want to know who's been driving around inspecting the homes in the neighborhood to see if anybody has deviated from code. :eyes:

14. Haven't seen the show.
One of those girls looks like a sister of mine did when she was in her twenties.

16. I think it is supposed to be set in either New Hampshire, Vermont
or southern Maine...

It is a pretty well written show with a lot of good quips and great banter...
