Yeah, my asshole neighbor moved out who

Has called the cops on me three times for playing the Beatles, Joni Mitchel and other heavy metal rap bands like them.

I was too loud at 9:49 on Saturday nights.

His wife drove a Fed-x truck and would park it around back for 2-2.5 hours during "lunch" Total Asshole.

:) :) :applause: :applause:

4. I wouldn't call the cops on you, but
you know, when you live near other people, it's just good manners to keep your noise to yourself.

My neighbors have no idea what kind of music I like, and I aim to keep it that way.

6. but at the same time
if you live near other people you have to expect noise from time to time

i've always kept it down at appropriate times but if it's the middle of the day? blast away.

7. 9:49 on a Saturday night
I think it's perfectly appropriate to expect quiet at that time.

When I think of expecting some noise, I think of the lawn mower, some kids playing outside on a sunny afternoon, maybe someone tooting a car horn to pick up someone they're giving a ride (and if that's before 7 a.m., never mind the horn, get out and knock on the door). I tend not to think of hour after hour of someone blaring music out of their window.

I listen to music all the time. If I feel the need for it to be loud, I wear headphones.
