I loved listening to his stories, I loved his book ("I Was Right on Time"), and was so saddened when I heard he had died.

born in 1911, played in the Negro League. He spent over 65 years in baseball. Keith Olbermann profiled him in the last few minutes of his show. He passed away at age 94.
(Olbermann's on now...)
