Mind you, I probably wouldn't try to punish her even if she had done it on purpose either, but she didn't; she just lost her footing (pawing?). She's an awful damn nice monkey and hardly ever uses claws when crawling all over my lazy-ass form, even if it means falling off. Scratch hurt like hell and bled a lot for a little while, but the worst thing was that goddam Ted Nugent song getting stuck in my head.:P.

22. Poor things are slumming it on Purina Cat Chow

However, Purina included a can of Fancy Feast in the most recent bag. Being fairminded, I went out and bought another can so each cat could have one. My poor Amelia, being dumber than a sack full of rocks made out of George W Bush molecules, couldn't figure out what it was and, I swear by all that's holy, ran away from it, so the big cat got the first can. Then I gave Amelia another shot and she chowed down. Then I had two very restive cats on my hands for a couple of days, as my every move was interpreted as possibly somehow involved with opening another can of Fancy Feast.:)
