iPod's Dirty Little Secret
Have y'all seen this?

http://www.ipodsdirtysecret.com/

$250 to replace the batteries?

Who would buy that thing if they knew you had to buy a new one every 18 months?

Screw that!

Also, it was cool to hear NWA's 'Express Yourself' again.

On edit: I was about to buy an I-pod, but I think I'll hold off 'til they correct this.

4. That movie's a prank, just so you know...
The Neistat Brothers specialize in Internet hoaxes and pranks. Check out their other movies.

8. Hey but you know what?
I actually found that thing while searching for some delicious Thom Yorke sounds on youtube... instead of finding Thom Yorke I got this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t4A-JmlMjGQ

After seeing that I did a search and found a few odd drawings and then that iPod thing, which of course got me goin'. *blush again*

They sure are... well, sort of interesting, I guess... for lack of a better word.

5. Well, mine is 3 years old and still running strong.
Anyway, the extended warranty isn't that expensive and with it Apple will replace your whole iPod (usually giving you a better one) for free.

6. Yep... it's a prank...
In just a couple of minutes of looking, I found a source for replacement batteries ranging from $29. to $39. including a special tool for opening the case and detailed instructions.

This may void your warranty... but if the thing is 18 months old, the warranty is probably expired anyway.
