My 16-year-old nephew is really interested in Taoism. I've talked to him about it as much as I can -- can you suggest some resources (books, etc.)? I don't just want to go by Amazon's bestsellers in this subject.

"365 Tao--Daily Meditations" by Deng Ming-Dao. This is a book of one page meditations that he would read daily. There is a different meditation for each day of the year. There is a lesson and things to think about in each one.

is an excellent book, comparing the silly old bear's behavior and quotes with the wisdom of Tao and the words of Lao-Tzu.
It's follow up piece, "The Te of Piglet" is pretty good as well. Both books are good to read side-by-side with some of the more esoteric works.
