Just got back from Trader Vic's... |
|
:P I met my good friend who lives in town at Trader Vic's, and her husband and parents were with her too. They helped celebrate her birthday, and since I couldn't get there until 8 PM, I just had a Mai Tai (or maybe two...). :9 I love the Tiki theme, and there was a band there playing live Hawaiian music. :bounce:
Does it get any ginchier than that? :) *sigh*

4. Yeah, but it's a school night and everything... |
|
 Two. And they were very strong. I had a really good buzz going, and I've still got some of it. And the mai tais were half price since it's Thursday, so I got two for one. :P

:P  I used to be able to do stuff like that on a "school night" and be fine the next day. However, these days, I just can't. Damn, I'm starting to sound like an old fart....:yoiks:

12. I've been told it will catch up with me in a few years. |

So far, the worse that happens is something like the time a container of soy yogurt attacked my face and won.
I still haven't lived that one down.

I think he was sitting at the bar. Either that or a big hairy guy who likes tropical drinks was there. :P And no, I'm not in London. And Warren Zevon wasn't there either.
 :hi:

Edited on Thu Oct-12-06 11:44 PM by NewWaveChick1981
so yes, we were probably there at the same time. :hi: UNC-CH restrooms had the world's best graffiti!!! I started fall 1981 and graduated spring 1985, then I worked in the financial aid office on campus from 1985 through the end of 1988. :D
The author of that particular piece of graffiti has NO idea how much of an impression it made on me...
