I'm applying for a PhD conference (www.phdproject.com) and need some DU help. I need some ideas on how to answer three questions:
1. What would you like most about being a professor?
2. What would you like least about being a professor?
3. How can you contribute to the success of your future students?
Some background about me:
a. B.S. Applied Physics 1993, M.B.A. Operations Management 2004 b. Over nine years working professionally. c. Mostly working in semiconducting manufacturing. d. Worked in a manufacturing engineering and supervision capacity. e. Progressive operations development
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Michael

20 years now. I'll see if he has a few minutes to put his thoughts down. If so, I'll PM them to you.
:hi:
Unlike teaching at the HS level, most who get college/university jobs don't seem to leave the profession.
