Is there help out there for someone like me?

My parents are very conservative people, (my father is an ordained Assemblies of God minister) and were very confused when I told them. I'm worried that they just might not accept me anymore if they don't figure out what that means quickly enough.

Whatever shall I do?

PS When I was 18 I actually said this to my father after asking him to sit down because I had something to tell him. Back then I was kind of a pretty boy and a number of people actually thought I was gay, maybe it was the skinny leather ties I wore in the 80's and the stylish pastel shirts. Or maybe it was because I could actually hold a conversation with the females on a variety of subjects besides sports, beer or sex. I swear when I told my father, he stopped breathing for like 15 seconds while he mulled that sentence over in his head. The look of relief on his face was priceless, but I think he did want to hit me after he figured it out for nearly giving him a heart attack.
