9. Here is the story.

The Poltergeist movie's continued on, but the death's of some of the actor's made it even more 'spooky,' as myths and legends for the movie's being 'cursed' surrounded it, media and fans linking their death's to the movie's.


Dominique Dunne, ( oldest sister Dana ), wasn't in the second film, as she was strangled to death by her boyfriend. Julian Beck, ( Reverend Henry Kane), died of stomach cancer shortly after filming the 2nd movie. Will Sampson, who played the 'good spirit' in Poltergeist II, died after receiving a heart-lung transplant. Heather O'Rouke, ( Carol Anne ), died in 1988 sometime after the 3rd of a septic infection due to a bowel blockage that cause bacterial toxins to enter her system.


Needless to say, there hasn't been a fourth Poltergeist movie.


Their death's had no relation to the movie's, especially with the fact that many of the main character's/actor's are still alive today, but over-active minds made people spread gossip... and so the legend's began.

Old Dark House isn't on until 4:45 est. I've been waiting for years to see it but I can't stay up than long. Also, why did it used to have 4 stars but now only now 3?
